1 · DAYDREAM:

From birth, EVERY DAY, before going to sleep, I spend 1 to 3 hours daydreaming, imagining anything, something nice or a problem, be it something that I want to create or want to do or that I have to solve, ... from the global idea to the constructive solution in detail. So the next day or in the future, I already have the solution or the complete idea, it is only a matter of time to make it happen.

2 · LEARN FROM OTHERS:

Since I was a child I spend a lot of time talking and learning from every person that I meet: teachers, friends, my workers, other creative people & artists, businessmen, and especially my wife (Civil Biochemical Engineer, Artist & Entrepreneur), my mother (Linguist, Teacher, Entrepreneur, Photographer, and Druid / Healer by birth), my father (Ph.D. in History & Philosophy, Professor, Master in Education, and a Political Analyst), and my grandparents (Entrepreneurs, Businessmen/women, Makers, and a Druid / Healer).

 · STUDY & RESEARCH:

I have studied all the postgraduate courses that I could take, from a Diploma in International Business to Urban Planning, Cultural Heritage, Heritage Cities, among others ...

I got my first two undergraduate Diplomas when I was in middle school: Screenwriting and Puppet Theater.

While I was in high school and then at the university, I took all the extra classes that I could take, as Painting, Leadership, Graphic Design, Photography, ...

Until these days I never stop studying, while I illustrate or design I listen to video lectures

 · CONSCIOUS ATTENTION:
I practice and train every day my "Conscious Attention" (it is Like Conscious Observation), to understand how things are (nature, music, mechanisms, buildings, everything), how things work, how people act and feel, and how everything interacts.

A few years ago I create a MasterClass about this, and how using Conscious Attention you can Develop your creativity.

I have given my MasterClass "DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE SKILLS FOR INNOVATION" in different universities, NPOs, and Large International Corporations, as part of their Entrepreneurship Programs

 · NO FEAR, JUST DO IT

Many people say cliches like "NO FEAR OF FAILURE", but there are never failures! all you do is a learning journey, if you live under the pressure of SUCCESS and FAILURE, you will never understand that this is all about JOY and Self-Realization instead of Money and Competitiveness ... But don't worry, MONEY and SUCCESS always come when you do what you love with a professional attitude.

I've spent tons of hours doing things and then criticizing them, finding what I can do better next time. We have launched many projects that were not well formulated to continue and others we have simply let go even though they have been very very profitable, but emotionally we have not liked them to continue with them ... And we still here, stronger than ever!

I started my first venture when I was 5-6 years old selling homemade popsicles on the pier in my small tourist town (we made them under the supervision of my mom hahaha). The following summer I created a Tomatomobile, adapting my Go-Kart from wooden boxes, selling and delivering organic vegetables from our farm in the country to my neighbors in the small town.

 · EXPLORE:

Don't be afraid to look for new inspiration. Take the time to explore what you really want to do, start a new endeavor, project, or collection and try something else later if you are satisfied, there is no need to be stuck in a style or concepts, explore if you want, even if you find something that you like, you may not want to do it any longer, so feel free and explore again as many times as you want, do like Picasso and reinvent yourself every so often.

 

Before I was 8 years old, I already knew how to draw, carve wood, cook, screenprint, ride horses, shoot, sow and harvest, digital design & illustration ('80s PCs :o), and spoke 3 and a half languages... while practiced swimming, kayaking, horse racing, climbing, biking, and taking piano lessons.

​

I was able to do all of this because I always dared to explore and because I was always a very focused child, that when I start something I practice and research until I master it ... and thanks to my incredible parents! Hahaha

​

My wife and I take exploration very seriously, hahaha, so we took a few sabbaticals before the pandemic and another sabbatical before starting work in New York in 2012. We can do this because the efforts of previous years have always paid off because we always do what we love to do. And taking breaks from our job as managers is something we love to do to find more inspiration. (Today you can manage a company from anywhere using zoom and WhatsApp hahaha)

 · SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE

Teaching others is the best way to remember things.

At the University I took extra courses, outside of the architecture curriculum, while I was UTA (Undergraduate Teacher Assistant) for 5 different courses, ... I was also President of the Student Government for 3 years, DJ, and had a Funk-Rock Band... crazy times, hahaha

​

Throughout my life I have created many courses, one of my most significant achievements was having created the new Discrete Mathematics Study Program, transforming the content of the course from a theoretical class to an applied one, with real-life exercises for 2nd year (sophomores) students of architecture in 2002.

​

From 2010 to 2015, thinking about how I could better help others, I dedicated myself to creating and teaching courses to poor women and entrepreneurs, as a Brand Coach and as an Architect. And every time I grow in Ideas and as a Professional, because I always research more and create new content, but above all because we discuss new ideas and projects in class with the students.
